It’s been a long time since I’ve posted. And I’m not going to shoot myself in the foot by promising more regular posts. But. I’ve realized something huge.
As a result, this blog will be undergoing a significant re-brand.
I started blogging years ago with The Green Alaskan because I felt called to write. But as that business took on a life of its own, the subject matter of my writing quickly became a struggle. For a long time, I tried to force myself to write on-brand yet helpful blog posts about sustainability and parenthood in the final frontier. But it was just that, forced. It became a chore. I eventually stopped posting all together when I realized I was more or less wasting my time. My heart wasn’t in it, and it wasn’t driving sales. My most passionate posts had NOTHING to do with sustainability. And while I’m happy to see that business growing and flourishing off in its own separate world, this blog can no longer be that.
It’s taken me years of motherhood, transformative experiences, and growing close to God to realize WHAT I’m supposed to be writing about.
More information will be coming soon, and the changes will speak for themselves. You can expect to see subjects like “Biblical Motherhood” and “Birthing with Faith” to take prominence. Please stick around for more! And if Jesus talk really isn’t your thing, please head back to our original GreenAlaskan.com for content aligned with our original messaging.
